You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit personal information. If the law where you live requires a higher age for online consent, you must meet that age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The site is not directed to children under 13.

Sun’s Up provides short daily and practice puzzles, score sharing, optional account sync, personal activity tools, public profile and leaderboard options, and private Coffee Tables. Features may be added, changed, paused, or removed over time.

Reminder settings can be saved before reminders are available. Saving a preference is not a promise that a message will arrive.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your email account, sign-in links, and devices secure. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or falsely present yourself as Sun’s Up staff.

We may restrict, suspend, or remove an account or public content when reasonably necessary to protect players, investigate abuse, comply with law, or operate the service. You may stop using the site at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy notice.

Shared scorecards are designed to omit answers and account details, but their URLs contain the score summary encoded in the link. Anyone with a link can view or forward it. Do not share a scorecard, profile, or invite URL if you do not want its contents circulated.

Public profiles and global leaderboard participation are optional. Coffee Tables are limited to their members, but members can see the names and score summaries presented in that table. Anyone with a valid invite may be able to join. Table owners are responsible for sharing invites carefully and choosing suitable names and descriptions.

You keep any rights you have in profile text, feedback, Coffee Table names and descriptions, and other material you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, format, display, and process that material only as needed to run, secure, and improve Sun’s Up.

Do not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, infringing, or otherwise harmful. We may remove or limit content that violates these terms.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or violate another person's rights.
• Probe, bypass, or defeat authentication, access controls, rate limits, or security protections.
• Use bots, scraping, or automated requests in a way that overloads the service or disrupts another player.
• Upload malicious code, interfere with the games, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
• Manipulate public standings, referral events, scores, or Coffee Table membership through deceptive or automated activity.
• Use Sun’s Up branding to suggest endorsement, partnership, or official status without permission.

Puzzles, clues, maps, estimates, dates, and explanations are provided for entertainment and general learning. They are not medical, legal, financial, safety, navigation, or other professional advice. Do not rely on a game answer when a real-world decision requires an authoritative source.

We review puzzle material and link sources where practical, but facts, datasets, translations, coordinates, and third-party pages can be incomplete, disputed, updated, or wrong. Scores and rankings are recreational and may change if a puzzle or scoring issue is corrected.

The Sun’s Up name, interface, original puzzle writing, and site software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

The games also use open, public-domain, and third-party factual sources under their own licenses and attribution requirements. Those underlying materials remain governed by their respective owners and licenses.

Account features use an external account and data provider, and Google processes sign-in information when you select Google. The site also links to external research sources and can hand sharing to your browser, operating system, or chosen app. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their independent content or operation.

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but daily content, account sync, reminders, rankings, and other features may be late, interrupted, unavailable, or changed. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will always be error-free or meet every need.

To the extent allowed by law, Sun’s Up and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date above will change when material revisions are made. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
